Why Fred Thompson for President?
The Outhouse is my main blog, but I am also contributor to "Moose Calls" where I talk more Politics in general with Big Brother Moose. I save my rants on the News of the Day for here at the Outhouse where its more appropriate. ;-)
More on my post at http://moosecalls.blogspot.com/2007/09/fred-thompson-for-president.html.
Here's a half dozen clips from a variety of sources posted to YouTube to support my call for Fred Thompson. If anything, it supports my notion of him being "little right of the middle", so in a field of opponents that are Greenhorns or too far Left & Right, he comes out shining like a beacon in the middle. This is what America needs.

Overall, he's been consistant on these issues, and has the record to prove it. Regarding his Pro-Life stance on Abortion, I do agree that Abortion should be left to the States to decide. However, I personally do not support Abortion except in cases of Rape, Incest, Abuse, and the Life of the Mother. This plays into my notion of "Freedom with Responsibility" and that one needs to take responsibility for those actions. Abortion is abused as a form of Birth Control and having a child is a great responsibility, and if your not willing to take that responsibility, Don't Do It! If you can't abstain or control yourself, there are proper forms of Birth Control available through pills, condoms, injections and surgery, but that is still no substitute for you not taking Responsibility in the matter when they fail to prevent a pregnancy.

Okay, a little side stepping of some questions since he's not officially in the race, but he took the high road to not criticize his opponents from either side of the isle.
